In a world where everything is 10x more complicated than it should be - largely because everyone assumes automation is ALWAYS better - it was so nice to stumble into such a competent, humanistic experience in the LEAST likely of places!As a complete noob with Minecraft/mods/servers tasked with the job of setting up a private server for my son and his friends, the homepage for bananaservers was initially a bit daunting. Within seconds, though, of clicking the chat bubble and entering a query for help, I was walked through the entire process - step by step - BY A HUMAN!! Chris (yes, a real human) was friendly, competent and communicated very clearly what needed to happen while patiently answering all of my stupid questions in real time at 22:30PST. I have spent MANY years providing/training/supporting customer service - it's always appreciated when I cross paths with people who do it right, and this was one such instance.Thanks Chris and Nick! The support I was received was both very quick and very helpful. And their prices are great. So I have to give them 5 stars. Our 7 Days to Die server is running great and when I had to upgrade the game from 1.2 to 1.3 it was a breeze. Update: Initial experience with this host was good, as mentioned above, but that experience degraded with time and ultimately resulted in me leaving this host. It might have been a one off situation, but short version of the story: I selected a plan and got a promo based on what they said on their website. But what they said on their website was inaccurate and needed updating, so I had to switch to a different plan to accommodate my number of players (and they subsequently updated their website). But then they wouldn't give me my reoccuring promo.”
