Score breakdown — three components, weighted
Updated monthly · See methodologyReviewers consistently call HeavyNode one of the cheapest options available without sacrificing quality. Their shared hosting plans in particular are praised for delivering genuine performance at rock-bottom prices.
With 97% satisfaction across 176 reviews, HeavyNode earns high marks for affordable pricing, solid Minecraft performance, and a support team that handles custom requests well. The few complaints center on managed dedicated servers rather than their core shared hosting.
“I have been using this hosting company for at least 6 years, and throughout that time, they have been amazing. While yes, there are SOME cases where their support CAN be slow, usually they respond within 12-24 hours, depending on the issue. They are very accommodating and help with any issue you have. I've had over 26+ tickets (i labeled my first 26 tickets a-z lmao) Server performance has been good. I have mostly used the Minecraft servers for personal and not actually public server stuff. When I did use the server for public stuff, it held up. I used their web service for years, and it was pretty good, especially their unlimited tier. I use their VPS service a lot, too, and those are pretty good. I've only ever had 1 serious issue with my VPS, and it was fixed within 15-20 minutes of my ticket. The panel they use is very nice and easy to set up, which OS you want to use, and changing passwords and such. They are also pretty quick with setting up services for new games like Hytale recently, and Palworld when that came out. Love Rodrigo A. and Jeremiah B. they are very helpful both in the discord and in tickets.”
